This all-in-one outdoor kitchen combines functionality and unique design in one design
compact. OFYR Island 85 consists of a cooking unit with a wood storage space, a sturdy worktop and a practical utensil holder. Available with a teak or dark gray ceramic worktop.

• Suitable for 10-12 people.
• The ceramic worktop can be left outside permanently. A teak worktop should be stored indoors and should be treated regularly with vegetable oil.
• The tool tray can be mounted on the side or back of the worktop.
• Black models require more maintenance than Corten ones. For this reason the unit is supplied with a protective cover.
• The top of the cooking unit must be kept clean and dry to avoid rust, especially at the base of the cone.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about OFYR

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAT THE OFYR?

The time required to heat the OFYR plate depends on the outside temperature. In spring and summer, it takes about 25-30 minutes to bring the straightener to a good temperature. In autumn and winter, it can take 45-60 minutes.

FOR HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I COOK WITH OFYR?

The exact number of people you can cook for depends on the OFYR model and the type of food being prepared. Of course, the exact numbers depend on the chef's skills.

OFYR 85 Hamburgers, sausages or vegetables 30-40 people, Complete meal 10-12 people

OFYR 100 Burgers, sausages or vegetables 60-70 people, Complete meal 15-20 people

OFYR 120+ Burgers, sausages or vegetables 70-100 people, Full meal 20-25 people

OFYR XL Hamburgers, sausages or vegetables 150-170 people, Full meal 30-40 people

HOW HOT DOES THE HOB HOT?

The OFYR plate can reach very high temperatures. Depending on the weather conditions and outside temperature, the inside of the hob heats up to around 300°C and the outside to around 200°C.

WHICH OIL IS BEST TO USE FOR COOKING?

Any type of vegetable oil can be used for cooking.

WHICH WOOD IS BEST TO USE?

For maximum user comfort, we recommend using kiln-dried/very dry wood with a maximum humidity of 20% to avoid smoke during cooking. Additionally, kiln-dried or very dry wood is much easier to light. It is necessary to use a harder type of wood, because softer woods, such as birch, wear out too quickly and therefore large quantities are needed. Be very careful when using tropical hardwood. It generates a huge amount of heat and if you use too much it can warp your hob. Kiln-dried beech wood is best because it heats very well and burns to form a mass of charcoal that heats the hob optimally. Oak wood works less well because it burns to a fine ash. Ash wood is a good compromise between beech and oak.
